Remote Western Mongolia
I don’t even know where to begin with this trip!! I couldn’t have hoped for a better local than Nurgabat to guide me and my sister through the remote regions of Western Mongolia. I asked for a remote experience with horse back riding, trekking, and camping and we spent a week being self sufficient. This trip exceeded any of my expectations. From living with a nomadic family, to summiting Malchin Peak, and a medical incident - Nurgabat truly looked after us every step of the way. I felt his sincere desire to keep us safe, to experience the true culture. This was made even better that we had his beautiful wife as our chef along the trip - we felt like a true family. An experience that seriously can't be beat
An all around once-in-a-lifetime experience that's truly unmatched anywhere else in the world. Took a week long trip just by myself and felt just more comfortable then I ever imagined I would be. You seriously can't beat the views, the mountains, the roaming animals at every turn of the landscape. Breathtaking is an understatement. Roads can be bumpy but I honestly found it part of the fun and any long car ride around flies by so fast with how great the visuals are surrounding you. The people you visit in the area from local nomads, your tour guides, other tourists are some of the most welcoming and wonderful people you can ever engage with. Got to learn a lot from them about their way of life, go fishing, see their animals and hear their stories. I would go back again in a heartbeat. The skies of Mongolia
In August, we traveled with Mr. Khabi to western Mongolia, to Bayan-Ölgii. During our four-day journey, we felt as if we had returned home. Everyone we met was incredibly warm and welcoming. Mr. Khabi was determined to give us the most local and authentic experience possible. We rode horses through the snow-capped mountains and stayed in the home of an eagle hunter. The Best tour in Mongolia!
The best decision ever! My girlfriend grace and I spent 8 amazing days with Nurgabat and his crew (Driver and cook) and we had the most amazing time. Their kindness, generosity and passion to tell us all about their country made the experience simply fantastic, we really could not have had a better time, every single person he introduced us to was lovely, we have already made plans to come back next year and do Northern Mongolia with him! We were in Mongolia for a week with DNA Tourism between July 21-28. It was a legendary experience. Mongolia was very different for us from visiting and seeing any other place. Walking through the lands our ancestors trod centuries ago, we felt right at home. Our tour guides were our siblings Nurgabat Bey and his wife Bereke Hanım. An authentic journey
Mongolia is a naturally beautiful country. And nature remains unspoiled. We saw vast steppes. We visited Buddhist temples. We stayed in Ger tents. We travelled by camel and horse. We saw wild horses and deer. We shot arrows. It was the Feast of Repentance. We witnessed the Mongolian people celebrating with horse races, wrestling, dance, and music. We got to know Genghis Khan.
