Moğolistan’ı daha iyi tanımamız ve keyif almamız için olağanüstü bir çaba gösterdi ve başardı. Bir ihtiyacımız var mı, keyfimiz yerinde mi diye her an hepimizle samimi ve güleryüzlü iletişimi mevcuttu. Dolu dolu bir program hazırlamıştı. Kendisi sayesinde hem keyifli, hem bilgi dolu, hem de çok güzel deneyimler edindiğimiz bir gezimiz oldu. Hatta bazen programda olmayan isteklerimiz için bile ekstra çaba sarf edip hepimizi daha da mutlu etmeyi başardı (kımız içmeden göndermedi bizi ☺️). Kendisine sadece rehber demek çok yetersiz olur, o ailemizden biri gibiydi ve öyle de kalacak. Böylesi zor bir coğrafyada hem ülkesini tanıtan, hem de bu kadar memnun olmamızı sağlayan bir rehber bulmak çok zor. Ancak bazı seyahatler vardır ki, daha ilk adımdan itibaren tüm endişeleri siler ve yerini hayranlık uyandıran, kusursuz bir deneyime bırakır. Sevgili rehberimiz Nurgabat ile Orta Moğolistanda 1 haftalık unutulmaz bir gezi gerçekleştirdik. İlk defa geldiğim bu ülkede rehberimiz bizi evimizde ve aileden biri gibi ağırladı. Bu kadar cana yakın, ilgili ve düşünceli bir rehberle ilk kez karşılaştım. Bir Türk grup olarak, bizi atalarımızın yaşadığı ve izler bıraktığı topraklarda 1 hafta boyunca gezdirdi. Türkiyede yaşamış ve Türkçe biliyor, bu bizim için bir avantajdı. Kültürel ortaklıklarımızı, atalarımızın tarihi karşılaşmışlıkları ve hala ülkemizde yaşattığımız ortak alışkanlıkları binlerce yıl sonra moğolistanda görmek benim için aydınlatıcı bir kültürel deneyimdi. Moğolistanın coğrafyası, tarihi ve doğası keşfedilmeyi bekliyor. Tüm gezginlere özellikle Türk gezginlere şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum. Rehberimiz Nurgabat için mükemmel rehber desem az olur. Before even arriving, he was excellent at communicating with me about what I wanted out of my trip to visit western Mongolia. He was able to tailor my trip to include everything I mentioned and more! The pure kindness, hospitality, and genuine love for sharing their culture shined throughout my trip which made it such an immersive and enjoyable experience. He went above and beyond each and every step of the way, from carrying my bags and holding the door open for me, to surprising me with live traditional music at our final dinner! The itinerary he sends lays out exactly what to expect and throughout the trip he would describe and prepare me each step of the way for our day or events we had planned. It made doing everything feel so easy because of how prepared I was to do each thing. He and his team would check on me to make sure I was okay throughout the days which was a great feeling especially as a solo traveler. The ability to adjust plans or change things as needed for things like weather really showed how well experienced they are and kept the trip in great spirits. If I was up for the adventure then so were they! My trip consisted of living with a Kazakh family, learning about the eagle hunters and going to hunt with them, celebrating in the spring festival and eagle hunters festival, joining in the migration with the family to their summer lands, enjoying local cuisine, hearing traditional music, learning about the culture and traditions, and sharing stories with one another. Our cook was absolutely fantastic! Each meal was so well done, tasted excellent, and provided much needed energy for a day full of activities. It was so nice to have a great meal to look forward to after a day full of activities! I was always so impressed! Our driver was excellent as well!! The roads required a skilled driver to really know how to handle them safely, and he absolutely nailed it! They work so well together as a team, that the chemistry makes the trip so easy to just enjoy. Taking in the beauty that is western Mongolia was an absolute dream and privilege with this wonderful group. I will be back!Posted onVerified The most epic, authentic adventure--period. From the moment I arrived in Khovd, Nurgabat and his team treated me like family. We ate a delicious turkish meal and took a road trip up to Ulgii. From there we switched to a 4WD van and the adventure began -- think dirt roads, open landscapes, mountains in every direction, and in the middle of nowhere: a few homes. Real, kazakh nomadic families, two of which we stayed with. The first was an eagle hunter with 3 golden eagles who took me hunting every day, scaling mountainsides on horseback in search of foxes. On the second day, his son found one and the eagles ate well. I got lucky with the weather, but even if I didn't, I would have loved my time with Rakhimbyek and his family. We drank copious amounts of milk tea, talked about life, the world, and everything in between. I feel like this trip is the definition of cultural immersion, and is really only possible for a short time before it becomes over-touristed and corners are cut. For now at least, you can trust that any tour you take with Nurgabat and his team, you will be cared for and welcomed like family. I left a friend of everyone I met and would love to return to help with the annual migration (in March), which also sounds special. Book this trip, you will not regret it.
