Classic Mongolia tours

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar. Meet your guide at the airport and drive to your Hotel. After few hours resting do city tour in Ulaanbaatar wher you can visit Zaisan hill, Gandan monastery and local museaum.

Arrive in Ulgii and same day drive to the gate of Altai Tavan Bogd national park and on your way stop to see “Dear Stones” from ancient Turkic period and through snake valley reach the gate of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Do camping along white river valley (Akh Gol basi).

Live your vihicle around the gate there and start horse riding towards Tavan Bogd massif (five holly peaks of Mongolia which is more than 4000m higher) next to that mountains you will see 20km long Potanina Glacier. You can even walk on the glacier. Camp just next to that glacier. You will have two humped camels for your luggage transportations to Glacier side.

After breakfast your guide will guide you to 4th highest peak of Mongolia “Malchin peak” which is more than 4000 meters higher from sea level. You can get easily on the top of that peak. From the top of Malchin you will have full view to Russian territory and long and breathtaking views to Kazakhstan’s and Chinese snow capped Altai mountains. Same day you will come back to your same camping spot.

Start horse riding back to the same gate of the park same way as day 2 with two humped camels. Do relaxing around and visit the ger of local Shaman, try local handmade Tuvan Nomadic vodka.

Drive to Khoton and Khurgan lakes in the Altai Tavan Bogd national park where many Tuvan nomads spend their summer. Lakes are crystal clear with fantastic views of Altai Mountains and fascinating Nomadic lifestyle. Visit Kazakh nomadic family, and camp just next to the families.

You will do hiking through nomads to the beautiful waterfall. It is short hiking so it is better to enjoy you views on your way and even you can visit local nomads to experience different life. Come back at your same camping spot.

Drive to Dayan lake area as this area is best place for fishing. Also home for Kazakh nomads that rich with their livestock. On that lake you will do fishing meet also local people who are doing fishing as well and together eat that fish for your dinner tonight.

Fly to Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and meet your guide. Same day drive to Terelj national park. Visit Turtle rock and hike in Arabal temple (meditation center). Stay at local Ger camp resort.

Drive to Chinggiss Khan’s statue in Sonjin boldog. Visit small museum inside. Hike up to Chinggiss khan’s horse head. At the same day drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Stay at your hotel.

Drive to Chinggiss Khan international airport and take flight to depart from Mongolia.
